Through the questioning of political innovation and the democratisation of the ability for manufacturing the future, the argument follows that the political praxis should incorporate the knowledge developed in the design project.

To monitor the biodiversity of the mine’s ore surrounding ecosystems, Minera Escondida needed to make an upgrade to their current facilities in a site that was a natural reserve and also in the driest desert on earth. Our approach was to create a liveable microclimate and inside design a simple and efficient building.
